What is a Party for Peace?
A get together of two or more people, anywhere, anytime. Bringing food together in the name of peace and harmony and love, always love. These other suggestions are encouraged, but of course optional and open to your wonderful interpretations/strayings and improvements:
- Make it a potluck
- Bring good healthy, nutrient dense food (but don’t worry, just come together if you don’t have time to make your best dish! Let the peace and togetherness prevail!)
- Set up Art Making: Not JUST for the kids! Make something together (all ages) that shares your vision(s) of peace for the world. Then photograph it and SHARE it HERE too! I would love to see and share it with the world as part of this project!
- Dance Wildly and Free
- Talk about what it means to be One World made up of One People
- Enjoy Music
- Make Your Own “One World One People” Peace Sign(s)
- Laugh Wildly and Free
- Invite someone new
- Have it in a public park, the nearest bench at lunchtime or any public place
Why come together?
It’s time, to take a stand and we must pause to remember what all the greatest teachers of peace* have all shared with us throughout time: we can only re-connect to peace, achieve peace and sustain peace and stability through the strongest and deepest power that has ever existed throughout all time: Love.

The first Party for Peace
Friends and families gathered together for a weekend camping retreat in San Francisco East Bay Regional park on July 2-3, 2016. During the weekend, artist Stacey Ward Kelly along with her wife, daughter and friends created the mixed media map of the world, and celebrated the first Party for Peace as part of the One World One People Peace Project.
